Class Descriptions

Pilates Introductory Classes
4 and 6 weeks courses to fully understand the principles of Pilates. The aim is to move onto either Improvers or a Level 1 regular class.

Pilates Levels Improvers, 1, 2, 3
The different levels denote the range of exercises incorporated in these classes, increasing in difficulty at each level. Ask your instructor for more details or if you need help deciding your level.

Pilates Workshops
Includes Taster Sessions, Ante Natal, Equipment Based and Power Pilates.

Hatha Yoga
A relaxing practice with focus on breathing exercises. Does not follow a set sequence of asanas (postures) and includes holding asanas. Suitable for all. 

AstangaYoga
A powerful but flowing workout based on six series of challenging asanas. Snchronizing movement and breath to heat the body. Learn from beginners through the levels.
 
Freestyle Yoga
A relaxing practice building from a range of yoga styles into a flowing vinyassa style with strong breath focus and no set asana. Suitable for all. 

Power Yoga
Based upon the challenging sequences of Astanga yoga but with more room for variations and attention to alignment. Prepare to sweat! Available in intermediate-advanced levels.

Men's Yoga
Astanga style yoga to encourage men to benefit from the many positive effects, increasing strength and flexibility while de-stressing mentally and physically.

Teens Yoga
Specifically designed for teenagers, to develop confidence physically and emotionally.

Children’s Yoga
For 7-11 year olds and Yogabugs 4-7 year olds, both stimulating and calming with the emphasis on fun.

Street Dance
For young teens. Seen it on the videos, now have fun learning the routines with us!

Fit Firm
Combining outdoor exercise, walking or running for 1/2 hour, with a studio toning session. Gets the heart pumping while improving strength and endurance.

Tai Chi
Run in courses. This ancient practice of controlled movements improves strength and flexibility through breathing patterns to focus and calm.
