One-to-one training has increased greatly in recent months within sports and fitness clubs. It seems clear that individuals want to gain more from their workout and wish to fine tune their time exercising to achieve the desired results swiftly with the support of an expert. The concepts of getting fit are simple as well as enjoyable and rewarding. Improved cardio vascular fitness, strength, muscle tone stamina and flexibility can be achieved in so many ways to keep you on target!

Our in house team of experts include an osteopath, acupuncturist and experienced exercise prescription trainers to provide advice and support to reach your goals. To help you identify your fitness priorities we have categorised 6 main programme areas, which would then be tailored specifically to you.

General fitness programme - to improve overall fitness, increase stamina, strength and flexibility, combining cardiovascular training with a weight and stretching regime. Ask for Paul Lowe

Weight management exercise programme - to concentrate on activities that use up calories and create improved muscle tone, combined with diet advice. Ask for Jackie Birch.

Back pain care programme - to have a available to you all the facilities within Breathing Space. These include consultations with our osteopath, massage and acupunture treatments and the use of our Pilates reformer machine, that is the ultimate Pilates workout for strengthening the specific muscles that stabilise the spine. Body shaping programme - to target specific muscle groups and with the use of the reformer streamline the whole body by promoting length of limb and spine. In addition, the reformer improves suppleness and encourages grace of movement: a great training tool! Ask for Michelle Smith.

These programmes are not mutually exclusive and a combination is most likely to be appropriate for you. The key is your commitment to your personal programme.
